It is believed by many that Jobim's best work as a leader was done during his relatively short sojourn on Frank Sinatra's Reprise label. Recorded in 1967, this third offering for the label led to his arranger and conductor Claus Ogerman becoming somewhat a legend when it comes to orchestral writing for Bossa Nova compositions.
