Renée Fleming presents her new album, Voice Of Nature: The Anthropocene, on Decca Classics. The "Anthropocene" is the name given to our current geological epoch, the "Age of Man." Accompanied by Yannick Nézet-Séguin on piano, Fleming explores the Romantic composers' relationship with nature through song. The repertoire includes works by Fauré and Grieg, as well as newly commissioned works by contemporary composers such as Nico Muhly and Pulitzer Prize winners Kevin Putts and Caroline Shaw.
