The Dutch singer, musician and composer Willem van Ekeren has dazzlingly combined the very mathematical music of Johann Sebastian Bach’s The Well Tempered Clavier with American author Charles Bukowski’s poetry. Van Ekeren recognizes himself in Bukowski’s bleak and potent poetry and by combining this with the purity of Bach’s music, creates a musical and lyrical sensation.
