Two outstanding recordings from March 1952 can be heard on this CD. They were made rather casually on two evenings with Giovonda De Vito in top form. Listening to this, one regrets all the more that these two gifted artists never came together to record the great classics of the repertoire, even though they were both under contract to the same record company.
