Max Reger's piano arrangements of Bach's orchestral and organ works with the legendary piano duo Evelinde Trenkner - Sontraud Speidel are undoubtedly among them. The "Brandenburg Concertos" were written when Reger was forbidden to compose by his doctor: "Well, then I'll just arrange them..."
