Trio Atanassov

The Trio Atanassov was founded in 2007 by students of the Paris Conservatory. The craftsmanship of the three musicians and their unanimously praised determination led to their participation in numerous international piano trio competitions. The Trio Atanassov received awards in Osaka, Trondheim, Vienna (Joseph Haydn) and Weimar (Joseph Joachim), among others. Their debut CD with works by Dvořák and Smetana was awarded the Diapason d'Or in 2013. Even then, the reviewer emphasized the ensemble's subtle combination of emotion and clarity.
