Mosaïque is a collection of four orchestra compositions by Ivan Fedele; among them we find two very recent works: En archè and Mosaïque (2008). “The Western tradition is substantially realistic, the Eastern tradition is above all symbolic, intellectual; how much of all this contributes to Fedele’s wonderful piece? I should say almost everything” (Quotation from the booklet notes about En archè by Dino Villatico).
