In 2014, Isabelle Faust, Jean-Guihen Queyras and Alexander Melnikov recorded the piano trios and Robert Schumann's concertos together with the Freiburg Baroque Orchestra under Pablo Heras-Casado. The albums have left their mark on the Schumann discography: by playing on period instruments, the musicians uncover completely unexpected structures and sounds. For the first time, the three CDs are available in one box, and as a bonus, a Blu-ray disc with the performance of the three solo concertos and the Overture, Scherzo and Finale in the Berlin Philharmonie.
