Richard Meale is a self-taught Australian composer and is largely responsible for introducing the international avant-garde movement to Australia. This disc includes his Concert Monologue from Mer de Glace, and a highly lyrical work Cantilena Pacifica. This CD gives a valuable insight into a cross section of Meale’s works.
