MDG presents a double-CD at a special price of George Onslow’s chamber works. George Onslow (1784-1853) uniquely dedicated dozens of works to the string quartet plus double bass, music which this ensemble has championed with special interest.
The works on this 2-CD set include the Piano Sextet, a concerto en miniature that took the Parisian salons by storm when it was first written.
