1708: Bach moves to Weimar. In the second part of the series, which is dedicated to the various stages of the composer's life, Paul Agnew and Les Arts Florissants show how he appropriated the means of the church cantata. He borrowed from the French style and reinterpreted the Italian concerto, and with his genius he shaped the genre forever and opened up new paths for it.
