The Geneva Piano Trio was founded by Russian musicians who have made Geneva their home for many years. The recordings were made in what is probably the best concert hall in Switzerland, in the city of La Chaux-de-Fonds, otherwise known for its watch production. With their debut, pianist Irina Chkourindina, violinist Sergey Ostrovsky and cellist Dan Sloutskovski return to their cultural roots, to Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov.
