In 2028, the music world will commemorate the 200th anniversary of Franz Schubert’s death. To mark this occasion, baritone Samuel Hasselhorn and pianist Ammiel Bushakevitz have started the “SCHUBERT 200” project, which celebrates the great song composer in concerts and recordings.
A central component of the project will be the recording of a total of five CDs with Schubert songs at Harmonia Mundi, which chronologically trace the work of the last years of Schubert's life.
The “SCHUBERT 200” project is aimed at a new generation of song audiences and is dedicated to the question of the extent to which Schubert’s songs are relevant to our lives in the 21st century and how this connection can be made audible and tangible.
