Melodiya continues to acquaint music lovers with the performing art of the outstanding Russian singer Hibla Gerzmava. This record includes highlights of a 2013 Moscow concert starring Ms. Gerzmava with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia conducted by Vladimir Spivakov. The singer performed arias from Mozart’s Vespers, the cavatina and cabaletta from Bellini’s Norma, Desdemona’s scene and prayer from Verdi’s Otello, and Richard Strauss’s Morgen.
