Trio Bagatelle dedicates its debut album to three great piano trios that Mozart composed in Vienna in 1788. The works show different facets of his genius: the Trio in E major, K. 542, intimate and passionate, seems to anticipate "Così fan tutte". The Trio in C major, K. 548, noble and radiant, is reminiscent of "The Marriage of Figaro". And the Trio in G major, K. 564, with its refined simplicity, sets an almost folk-like tone. Inspired by the art of theater, which was so dear to Mozart's heart, and at the same time preserving the spirit of musical conversation inherent in the chamber music of the time, the young trio presents a lively and expressive interpretation.
