Exactly 800 years ago, the most important interreligious encounter and an early rapprochement between two religions took place: Francis of Assisi and Sultan Al Malik Al Kalim meet on the fringes of the Crusades. The Pera Ensemble and Mehmet Yeşilçay take a look at this historic meeting. They show how music has united the most diverse peoples and religions and create a creative synthesis of both worlds.
