The third installment of the recording of all Mozart masses focuses on the works that were composed in Salzburg when Mozart was still very young. The Missa brevis "in honorem Sanctissimae Trinitatis" is the composer's only mass without a soloist. The Missa brevis in D major (KV 194) adheres to the Salzburg archbishop's instruction to be brief. In the appealing and beautiful Missa brevis in B flat major (K. 275), Mozart draws on a Parisian gavotte in the "Dona nobis pacem". His employment ended with this provocation.
