Charlie Siem, Philharmonia Orchestra, Oleg Caetani
British violinist Charlie Siem studied with Itzhak Rashkovsky and Shlomo Mintz, among others. He plays the 1735 Guarnieri del Gesu violin, the so-called d'Egville, which was previously owned by Yehudi Menuhin. For SIGNUM CLASSICS he has recorded Beethoven's works for violin and orchestra, which he presents together with the Philharmonia Orchestra under Oleg Caetani.
