On September 19, 1952, Arturo Toscanini gave his last concert at La Scala in Milan, devoted mainly to the works of Wagner. This was one of the outstanding musical events of its time and was broadcast by Italian radio. Now, for the first time, this edition makes this radio recording available, including the moderation (with English translation). This makes it an important contemporary document, not only for Toscanini lovers.
