Billy Vaughn (1919 - 1991) began his musical career in 1952 as a pianist and singer for the successful American group "The Hilltoppers". In the 1950s and 1960s, Billy Vaughn became one of the most successful orchestral leaders in the thriving pop industry worldwide. Between 1954 and 1962 he entered the US charts with 26 titles, only two titles were found in the UK charts and he was represented nineteen times in Germany, three of them with a number 1. In this box we present twenty original albums that resurrect the gold saxophone sound of Vaughn's troupe. Almost all of his unforgettable hits can be heard here. Billy Vaughn was also successful as a companion to other world stars.
