This box set features Hoelscher's complete recordings for the German Telefunken label - recordings very rare and highly collectable, some available on CD for the very first time - a true treasure chest for any cello aficionado, with examples of Hoelscher's extraordinary chamber music abilities as well as great concerto literature.
