JOE LOVANO, 'the most complete tenor saxophonist of our time' (Rowohlt Jazz-Lexikon), has struck again. For "Joyous Encounter", his 17th Blue Note album, the gifted stylist and improviser returns to the great band constellation that was already celebrated by critics and audiences for the recording of last year's album "I'm All For You: The Ballad Songbook": Hank Jones (piano), George Mraz (bass) and Paul Motian (drums).
