These wonderful works are here interpreted by some of the greatest orchestras, soloists and conductors of recent decades, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Philharmonic, Herbert von Karajan, Ferenc Fricsay, Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, Gérard Souzay, Artur Rubinstein, Clara Haskil, and Sviatoslav Richter.
