New siblingAmong Mozart's works there are some particularly regrettable cases in which the composer did not complete what was actually quite a promising work - for whatever reason. Among these is a particularly charming Larghetto & Allegro in E-flat major for two pianos, K. deest, written about 1781. Tomer Lev, a member of the MultiPiano Ensemble, completed the piece and, based on some indications, set it for the first time for two pianos and orchestral accompaniment. The other concertos for three pianos K. 242 and two pianos K. 365, also recorded here, can now enjoy a new "sibling".
