With "Constellation", Virgil Boutellis-Taft reminds us that music is "one of the most beautiful ways to travel". In a program marked by his many influences, the violinist combines the great milestones of the repertoire for his instrument (Chausson's Poème, Janácek's Sonata and Danse Macabre, arranged here for two violins) with miniatures, testifying to a career marked by concerts all over the world and a deep admiration for Yehudi Menuhin. The composer Tara Kamangar works side by side with Philippe Hersant, André Hossein and Ernest Bloch - all personalities who implicitly represent the sources of inspiration of a traveling violinist.
