Drama can be regarded as a sequel to the Madrigali album released in early 2014. The transitions between the two albums are somewhat blurred, as are the boundaries between the genres. Four composers set out to write music specifically for one of the leading vocal ensembles in the world. It begins with a sob and ends with an execution. In between these two poles: an entire cosmos of dramas, blood-soaked, cruel and yet in some way, cheerful and spirited.
