The Martinu Quartet certainly enjoys the same qualities of top to bottom equality of ensemble, keen rhythmic sense, and a sure understanding of the idiom…. Ideally natural recorded sound rounds out this fine release, certainly a jewel in Naxos' chamber music crown.
