Guitarist David Chevallier is interested in musical connections that are not always obvious. Curious, he has taken up the songs of the famous Icelander Björk to confront them with a typically baroque instrumentarium. The pop singer's beautiful melodies are given a completely different, organic touch here, far removed from the electronic flourishes of her albums, and it is a pleasure to enjoy them in such an intimate way. It speaks for their timelessness that they also appeal to the audience in this arrangement, Björk fans and early music fans alike.
