Chloe Chua returns to Pentatone with Mozart's complete violin concertos - a project that began when she was just 15 years old.
In addition to the five concertos, the set also includes Mozart's Rondos and the Sinfonia concertante for violin, viola and orchestra in E flat major K. 364, where she is joined by the young Chinese violist Ziyu He, who won the 2016 Yehudi Menuhin Competition at the age of just 16. The soloists will be accompanied by the Singapore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hans Graf.
Mozart's music has a special place in Chloe's heart - which is another reason why she has accepted the challenge of following in the footsteps of so many legendary violinists. The fresh interpretations show her deep connection to the music Mozart composed at her age. Her exceptional technique and playful elegance bring out the vitality of these beloved works.
