Violinist Elsa Grether and pianist Ferenc Vizi present a program that focuses on Spain. They present some well-known pieces from the repertoire, including works by Manuel de Falla and Granados, but also genuine rarities such as Rodrigo's Sonata pimpante and Turina's Poema de una sanluqueña. All of the works are based on Iberian folklore and the avant-garde movements of the early 20th century, each with its own language and uniting the different facets of the Spanish soul in a unique way.
