With nice regularity, the label Le Chant du Monde dedicates collector's editions to the great comedian and film composer Charlie Chaplin on round commemorative days. The tragicomedy "City Lights" was released (not quite round) 92 years ago, for which Chaplin composed the film music himself for the first time.

The limited deluxe edition in fully remastered mono and luxurious packaging includes the entire film score plus two bonus tracks. The hardcover 24-page accompanying booklet includes some previously unpublished text and photo material.
