Guillaume Bellom
We know the epic, modern, excessive, melancholic, post-romantic composer of dramatic tone poems and operas. But shortly before entering adulthood, Richard Strauss entrusted the piano with some tender thoughts that do not deny his role models of the time. The pianist Guillaume Bellom, who studied piano and violin in equal measure, sketches the young man at the keyboard as an heir to Beethoven, Schumann and Mendelssohn.
