William Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet" has inspired many choreographers around the world, but Sébastien Lefrançois' version is probably the most extraordinary.

The French artist sought a new and modern take on this classic drama and found in hip hop an exhilarating way to express the inner conflicts of the protagonists.

The result was moving, surprising and very emotional, making the production a great success.

The dancers focused on the psychological aspects of the drama and together with the wonderful music by Laurent Couson, this production is a strong and refreshing new version of "Romeo and Juliet".
