Leonard Bernstein would have been 90 years old in August 2008. IDIS is taking this as an opportunity to re-release two relatively unknown recordings by the master. The Beethoven recording was made live in Boston in 1957, the Gershwin recording ten years earlier in a studio in New York. Both recordings thrive on his charismatic personality and communicative power.
