Following the release of Billy Cobham's "Drum'n'Voice Vol. 3", the two predecessors are now also being released in a double pack to complete the collection. "Drum'n'Voice Vol. 1 - All That Groove" was released in 2001 and is a jazz / funk / fusion album. On this production, top-class musicians such as Michael and Randy Brecker, Eddie Gomez, Gregg Brown and many others came together to shine over Cobham's solid groove.

Afterwards, the temptation to strike out again was great. And so, for "Drum'n'Voice Vol. 2", jazz star drummer Cobham brought in a large number of illustrious jazz, blues and world music cats to to make it really funky.

The band Novecento is there, as are Brian Auger, Dominic Miller and drummer Buddy Miles, who appears here unexpectedly as a singer.

This double CD impresses with the great sound of the first two albums in the "Drum'n'Voice" series, which have not been available for many years. Billy Cobham with a difference!
