Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) was a German composer and musician whose mastery of counterpoint, harmony, and structure defined the Baroque era. This recording features Bach’s works transcribed for recorder ensemble, continuing a Baroque tradition of musical adaptati-on. The album includes Motets, Concertos and Inventions. The ensemble Collegium Pro Musica highlights both the unity and individuality of the performers, offering a vibrant and refreshing interpretation. Led by concert master Stefano Bagliano.
