Lilith's Lullabies is a transformative album that takes the listener on an intense journey to explore the "other side of consciousness". Some pieces are actually lullabies, lullabies, beautifully flowing odes that caress the mind and soothe the senses. Others radiate a bright power and energy that is impossible to escape. Together they turn Lilith's Lullabies into a listening experience to which one devotes oneself attentively and thoughtfully - a new chapter in the rise of one of the most talented contemporary composers."I have used simpler melodies and harmonies and rhythms that are inherently less complicated to achieve a better narrative structure. The deeper meaning of the album is more on the level of sound design. The listener should feel like simply enjoying the music. But if you want, you can dig deeper and discover things for yourself," says the composer.Damian Marhulets was born in Minsk, Belarus and has been surrounded by music since his earliest childhood. Encouraged by his father - his first teacher and role model - he grew up to be an excellent oboist and pianist. At the age of five he gave his first concert; only one year later he was accepted at the renowned music high school for highly gifted children in Minsk and played and toured with some of the country's most famous orchestras. Nevertheless, a certain restlessness remained in him: he had devoted his youth mainly to traditional classical music and had not yet found his creative fulfilment in it.
