With this new recording, Fernando de Luca closes an important gap in the repertoire of French Baroque music. Although sonatas by Tapray have already been recorded on a modern piano, there is no recording of these works on the harpsichord; this is all the more significant as Tapray is a key figure in the history of French keyboard music and stands at the interface between harpsichord and fortepiano.
