Since 2014, The Curious Bards have shared a love for the baroque music of Ireland and Scotland and its Gaelic and Celtic roots. Trained at the conservatories of Lyon and Paris as well as at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis, the "curious bards" have also integrated traditional Irish and Scottish playing styles into their music-making. After extensive studies in Dublin and at home in France, they find a creative and innovative approach to their repertoire from various 18th century collections.
